Our School Day

The Start of the School Day

Pupils are welcome to come into their classrooms from 8:40 a.m. They do not line up in the playground. Teachers are in classrooms from 8:40 a.m. to greet children, and support staff are on the corridors to ensure calm entry.

For health and safety reasons, parents and carers are not encouraged to enter the school at this time. If parents wish to speak to a teacher urgently, they should make an appointment via the school office.

All pupils enter the building by walking up the slope from the disabled gate and entering through the main school doors. Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and a Teaching Assistant (TA) are stationed at the door to greet the children.
